Bronze-Medal-V2St. Paul’s Whitechapel CE Primary School was awarded the Sainsbury’s School Games Bronze Award for its performance in the 2014-15 academic year, as recognition of their commitment to and development of competition, school sport and physical education.

All Tower Hamlets schools undergo a thorough process to establish their PE and sport priorities for the year. That process is outlined in the attached document.

St Paul’s Whitechapel CE Primary School agreed the following priorities with the Tower Hamlets Youth Sport Foundation for the 2015/16 academic year:

PE Uniform to be established and unified across the school
Parent Day – informing staff of PE Uniform including appropriate footwear

Policy update

Letters handed out if children are not in their correct PE Uniform
Children to be aware of their own fitness and healthPSHE lessons to support children’s health and well-being awareness

Starters and plenaries in PE lessons where children assess own fitness
Teachers begin to assess different abilities within their class
Assessment folder set up

Teacher meetings to discuss assessments

The previous year’s priorities were:
