Balfour Beatty London Youth Games 2015

The Balfour Beatty London Youth Games is the largest annual youth sports festival in Europe and gives young people, aged between 7 and 18, experience of a London wide sporting event.

The Games is essentially a mini-Olympics where each of the 33 London boroughs compete against each other in a variety of sports.

The sports for the 2015 are angling, archery, athletics, badminton, basketball, boccia, BMX, canoe/kayak, cricket, cycling, diving, fencing, football, handball, hockey, judo, netball, rowing, rugby (girls), sailing, squash, swimming, table tennis, tennis, trampolining, triathlon/aquathlon, volleyball, waterpolo and weightlifting.


In order to represent Tower Hamlets at the London Youth Games, you must qualify through the criteria of:

  • living or going to school/college in Tower Hamlets
  • being the correct age and gender for the sport you wish to take part in.
