Bronze-Medal-V2Bigland Green Primary School was awarded the Sainsbury’s School Games Bronze Award for its performance in the 2014-15 academic year, as recognition of their commitment to and development of competition, school sport and physical education.

All Tower Hamlets schools undergo a thorough process to establish their PE and sport priorities for the year. That process is outlined in the attached document.

Bigland Green Primary School agreed the following priorities with the Tower Hamlets Youth Sport Foundation for the 2015/16 academic year:

Upskill class teachers to plan and teach good or better P.E. lessons3 lesson model with specialist teacher
Increase participation in extra-curricular SportSet up sports lunch club system
Increase local competition attendance and friendly fixtures with other schools
PLT to run competitions and increase friendly fixture list.

The previous year’s priorities were:
